About me - My Story

Mindful Palette: When Chaos Turns into Art

My name is Grzegorz Witkowski "Emil." If you're looking for authenticity in life, you've come to the right place.

I'm not a guru. I'm not a marketing product. I'm a husband, a father, and an artist who decided not to let fate decide for him.

My "Wind in the Eyes"

My story could be a drama script, but I write it as a victory script.

Four years ago, I was at the happiest moment of my life. A month before my wedding, and I had my long-awaited 6-month-old daughter at home. Then I heard the diagnosis: AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) . It was like a time bomb in my head.

I underwent embolization, and then... the system forgot about me. For three years, I was bounced from door to door, left to my own devices.

A month ago, that bomb went off. I had a stroke.

The system valued my life and health at PLN 1,300 per month in pension, believing that this would be enough for my family to survive.

But I don't settle for "survival." I want to live .

Why do I paint?

Art is my response to chaos.

As a Buddhist, I believe that good can come from even the most difficult experiences. I love all beings and believe in the energy we leave behind.

The Pouring Art technique I create is a mirror of my life:

  • It's a balancing act between the chaos of spilled paint and my control over its shape.
  • It's turning fear into colors.
  • It is a meditation that allows me to forget about the limitations of my body.

My paintings – characteristic hexagons, triangles and hearts – are symbols of the new structure that I am building on the ashes of the disease.

What are you buying?

I'm not asking for a handout. I have my own hands, talent, and determination. I offer you a product of the highest quality.

When purchasing a painting from Mindful Palette :

  1. You are acquiring a unique piece – no one in the world will have an identical piece.
  2. You bring good energy into the house – I create each painting with the intention of peace and gratitude for still being here.
  3. You are showing solidarity – you are supporting a man who, instead of complaining about the system, took matters into his own hands to ensure the dignity of his family.

Thank you for being part of my journey.
